Tokyo Highway Battle

Have you guys played it? It was a Genki/Jaleco released and was launced in 1996. In Japan, It was named Shutokou Battle '97. Graphically, its not impressive, but its such a fun game in my opinion. So anyways, have any of you guys played it?

I've seen videos of it, graphics are pretty meh but it does look cool.

Is this the PS1 game that was released in the US? If so, I have that and it blows.

Anyway, I have it too... I like the music in it a lot, but it's just not that good. I really don't like the "on-off" style of drifting that Ridge Racer has, and this game uses it too. Oh yeah, and you have to grind a lot for cash to upgrade your car or you will lose all the time. There's only a handful of opponents but they're all quite hard to beat.

I know what you mean. I usually only play it for the music.
