Under everyone's username I can place everyone's team name and/or team photo. Team names override rank names, the photo of the team will appear above the personal avatar.

Right now I have a rank system in place - based on post numbers.

0-49: Spectator
50-199: Racer
200+: Xtreme Racer

I'm let me know if you want your team name under your name or a different rank system.

Do you guys think a Team Section would be useful - an area where formed teams can talk about what their team goals are, how to join, etc.

I liked the Profile idea - thought maybe this idea would go along with it.

The thing is teams would differ from game to game. But Teams would be a great idea, but a better name would be "Crew". Makes more sense, but I myself have been thinking of starting a team. <.< Some sort of rivalry would be good.

So a category called Crew sounds better?

You could state in each crew's thread what game was being used (either in title or in description).

That works very easily, I like the idea and I have been thinking about. So yea, I'm for the idea.

I would love to have a couple people either gather into two or three crews, or at least have a couple form their own crews and hopefully "recruit".

I see there's at least one crew of TXR3 - now to get another one or two for TXRD2... lol.

lol, I outta get mine started then. But odds are it's gonna be pretty open(Covering, TXR0, TXR3, and TXRD2). But we can also have Crew Battles, so that would be a good idea.

"Crew" sounds too ricey to me but whatever works. My team is closed since the three of us have known each other for some time. I don't have Drift 2 anymore but if it's alright to have a universal team then one of them can be the "Kaido" leader of the C1 Warriors.

I get crew from another game I play(At tournaments 5 people pair up and play matchs). But thats how I see it.

Well, I'd like to use a term that everyone can agree on (or at least the majority).

Group and gang don't really fit. But that's how I see it, either Team or Crew work in my opinion.

Bunch, Alliance, Unit, Collaborate, Ball Club, Posse...

Did an online Thesaurus of "team":

alliance, associate, association, ball club, brood, bunch, carriage, clique, club, coalition, collaborate

and of "crew":

assemblage, band, company, complement, covey, crowd, gang, group, hands, herd, horde, members, men, mob, party, posse, retinue, rowing, squad, team, throng, troop, workers

How about "Coven". lol.

Honestly I don't care, idk why I protested it in the first place lol.

Or each collection of people could call themselves whatever they want (e.g. Team, Crew, etc.).

lol, although Ball Club sound good(Sarcasm).

But really I don't care much either because the title will be the name of the Crew/Team. It's not like you're gonna put it at the end of the name. It just gives meaning, so whatever word fulls the meaning better is gonna work(I think Crew...).

I think that both terms will be used.

Teams sound more organized, usually incorporating sponsors and funding (i.e. more professional).

Crews sound more haphazard, generally a bunch of friends running together (i.e. more amateur).

Of course, call yourselves what you want. I'll be running my group as a crew - a bunch of joyriders with too many tires laying around.

lol, using both would be best. >.< Once you get this up I send info on my Crew. But this outta be good, just keep in mind the idea of Team/Crew Battles. That should add some spice.

I was guessing it was gonna have it's own section(Like the games do). Where it list each team/crew in a sub forum(Some sort of protection so people from other teams don't spy, like during team/crew battles). That sorta thing. But this works.

I can do that - didn't think of that kind of thing. How are you gonna prevent spying even with different sections though?
