As the topic subject says, I'd like to know who uses a wheel for TXRD2

I am using my DFGT, which is for the PS3, but it works with PS2 games and PC games, 900 degree rotation, sequential shifter, basically its just a step down from the G25. But still great wheel.

I use DFP. I know driftoner has a G25, though he's new with it and supposedly not that good with it yet.

I've just gotten some replica of a Formula 1 Williams racing wheel.
I think it's a version of the DFP but I got it without the manual.
God, that was expensive even though it was used ($75)
I'm not really good with it, but I'm getting better.

I just found a G25 for $35 on Ebay yesterday.
I bought it, but I hasn't arrived yet.
The wheel I previously had I sold for $150.
It was worth that much.

Yes.
I sold the other one already, so I have $165 left over.
I know it was cheap, but it works (Got it today.)
I'm still terrible with wheels for drifting, so I'm using a controller for the challenges and the main rivals.
I started a New Game + on my 3rd save, so I will post the results of up to Hiroshima's Slasher soon (like why's topic)

then keep challenging the rvals and doing TA/CA record challenge runs with the wheel till you get better.

just do grip style for awhile if drifting is too hard

That's what I've been doing.
It's just that I don't have a lot of time to drift with the wheel, so I don't get a lot of practice.
I decieded to learn drift with the wheel before grip, as grip is easier for me.

speaking of G25, imagine if this game had h-shifter and clutch support.

u should get a ps3 and GT5, or play lfs or some other pc sims for that practice, lol. You can also get a 360. but then u need another wheel because logitech wheels don't work, and the xbox wheels with clutch/shifter needs batteries.

i personally am used to dfp and only drove a full manual before getting into drifting/racing. so i can't heel toe worth shit. i can left foot brake pretty well though. I've heard G25 is harder.

Right.
I'd love that.

of course I play lfs.thats the main reason why I buy it. I just love txrd most than other racing game...g25 is hell hard for drift run in txrd but superb in grip run...naaa...its about time,i'm going to master it no matter what...

u shud check out some of my vids on youtube, since i'm the only one who posted vids playing with a force feedback wheel(that i'm aware of). and maybe they'll help eventhough i'm not the best drifter. I can see some of my mistakes when i watch it, applying them consistantly while driving is hard though.

I'd drift with u in LFS but can't do it right now because dfp doesn't work properly on windows 7.

ps. this game is definetly harder than enthusia, forza 4, GT5 and LFS to learn to drift on. LFS gives you more run off area, and doesnt have extreme uphill elevations(which i really suck at). Enthusia's main challenge is braking harder and not being able to adjust settings. Tried forza 3 demo and it was pretty easy to control during a drift. Just from watching fumiji kaido, the roads got some pretty big gutters you can run off on. I played GT5 demo and roads are so wide and you can get away with some bumps while still making up points.

If you learn to drift in TXRD2, I think u can adapt to any sim easily.

Nice vids.
They helped me somewhat so far as I adjust to the wheel.
