Steven started racing on the streets, racing in traffic and back alleys, winning every race he got in, and the more he raced, the more he wanted to have a real challenge. He then moved on to the touge in hopes of finding a real challenge. after literally blowing through the Hiroshima crews, he went to haruna in his old R33 Skyline GT-R. He then got beaten by a black 240Z which was almost stock. After getting over the humiliation of this defeat, he sold his car and bought himself a 180SX, but this time headed for the highways. If he tried to defeat everybody there in an underpowered car, it would surely mean that his skill has increased enough to smoke that mysterious 240Z on a more technical course. He has never lost a race since then, but if he was to be on the losing edge, he'd just accept defeat, as he has too much pride to lower himself to race using dirty tactics. Now he is close to his goal, but he doesn't want to leave the highway until he's ready, and until he has won every race to be made there.
