So I managed to get into the game again and started playing around with the few starter cars you can get (Start: 15000CP) and these are the choices of cars you can select from (no keep garage mode yet): AE86T3, AE86L2, S14K (was my main car when i first started playing TXR1 game, i dunno if its good on TXR2), FC3E3, and the 2 FF cars EG6 and EF8 (I kinda hate driving a FF car since it really doesn't drift well and if you set the brake balance too much in rear you lock up :(

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

My personal favorite is always a Silvia. So for TXR2 go with the S14k's. It's got good performance for a decent price.

I started with the PS13X only because its the lightest starter class b car available when beginning. And, it is useful for 1 wanderer requirement (drive a PS133, or a PS13K).

I'll agree on the B Class RX7. If it had another 50hp or more and the brakes were a little better it'd be an A class car.
