Personally, I love the touge so I'd hope for a new Kaido Battle. Now if the physics were a bit different for the Shutokou Battle games, I'd play them more. Either one is a win for me to be honest - as long as they increase the customization (though I haven't played ITC).

My vote is Kaido Battle.

yeah me personally I would love it if they would put them all together. a game thatg is free roam with turn signals and drifting in the mountains and a good story line. and twice the amount of cars that was in TXR0.

Yes! I love games with attention to small details - such as usable turn signals and hazard lights. Shoot, having a high/low beam setting would be awesome.

I voted for TXR4 (or Shutokou Battle 02). However, I'd also hope it'd be released for the PS2 since I currently don't own or plan to have any of this generations console. Wishful thinking, I know.

I voted for ITC 2 because that's the game that I have the most experience with. I thought it was a lot of fun and it's the game that made me pay attention to Genki.

I just started playing TXR: Drift 2 after hating the first one, then kind of liking it, then not liking it so much. Drift 2 is better than the first one mainly because Genki sped up the load times, made it easier to navigate through the screens and allowed the player to customize the paint on their cars. So far I'm enjoying Drift 2 but the enjoyment takes more time to realize because it has a higher learning curve than ITC.

Even though I voted for another ITC, I would like to see what Genki can do with the Drift series on this generation's hardware. I also want to see more details in the Drift series such such the an in car view that was present in ITC. I also want a car viewer with a greater level of zoom and a photo mode that allows me to take pictures of my car and possibly upload them to the net so I can print them on photo paper so I can pretend I own the car in real life. Oh, let's not forget a sticker and vinyl editor as well.

I want a next-gen Kaido title, with an epic career system.

You start off on the touge, working your way up the underground ladder. Then eventually you can get your event license, and you start doing DWYB days (drift what you bring). From here, you can get noticed, and work your way up from amateur class to pro to world class drifting events on both touge and tracks around the world. Sponsors with perks (free tires/parts), seasons, the whole nine yards.

The same way all the real life japanese drivers got started.

Sounds very similar to Need for Speed Pro Street - only much better. And the funny thing is - it would probably sell A LOT better if it was made right. Everyone loves the streetracing scene, the underground glory. And drifting is a HUGE craze right now that I don't think will be just a fad - it will be around for good.

Yeah, and each part of the game could be in stages. Like, you'll spend at least a month just beating rivals on the touge as a punk street racer. Then, once you reach a certain point, you find out about a n00b drift day at Drift Land or something. If you win, you get an event license and this opens up a whole new avenue of the game that lets you start competing on the amateur level in sanctioned track drift days and such. This would be limited to privateer teams, where you just drive whatever car you have and make due with your limited budget.

You can, of course, still battle on the touge if you want. Either way, do well enough and you can reach the pro level, where you get sponsored. Sponsors can offer all sorts of perks, be it more money per event won, free expendables such as tires (hoping for the need to maintain your car more) parts like coil-overs, turbos, etc. You can battle for points and position, carving your niche in the Japanese drift scene however you see fit, be it technical or speed.

Conquer the pro level, and the big names come to you with offers. Kei Office, Top Secret, RE Amemiya, you name it. All the power players are offering sponsorship, and the perks are very tempting, be it a Greddy9 FD or an MCR R34. Now you're world class, competing outside of Japan in series like D1 USA and the EDC.

That'd be my game, anyway, if I had the budget and a team with the know-how to put it together.

The one thing I liked about the first Juiced game was the prototype parts - something that would work on a game like that. One-off aerokits (widebody kits babay! ), turbo/supercharger systems, exhaust, etc. - you name it, it's there.

Hell yes! Ever see that black twincharger S15 on youtube? That thing is nuts!!

And yeah, I would love it if you could get a sponsor to use you as the guinea pig for their newest part before it hits the market.

"Okay, this new turbine is set at 40psi... are you sure your CA18 can handle it?"

"Just put the damn thing in!"

"Okay..."

BAM!

"Uuuh... will my perks cover a forged SR20 conversion?"

"..."

Yup. Between that and the R33, I think Bee*R are my favorite Nissan tuning specialists.

Wow that S15 is nice. I aggre with Why_spyder. I think that would make for a great Kaido game. I think that maybe the same idea could be applied to the Highway part too.

besides being a bigger touge than highway racing fan, Genki made 2 high way games in a row, shoutoku X(itc) and wangan midnight. so they should definetly make kaido 4 next

Genki didnt make ITC/TXR, that was what the company that liscenced it called it since crave owned the txr name. so it should be removed from the poll, since it's basically the same series. don't ask why they don't just call it the original name since the cult fans may know and i bet there are ppl that like txr but didn't try itc because they don't know what it is.

another possiblility is a sequel to C1, but the first one never got released here, and it'll probably be another forza/gt clone which makes it hard to stand out.

i want a game TXR style with a shit load of more cars.. i'd also like to be able to pick the parts i put on my car like different brands of turbos/sizes.. and i dont want no limits... this means i want to be able to have a supra with 1500hp if i can build it in the game.. just alot more realistic with like engine malfunctions and routine tuning and throw a gas meter in there too. we need that 116 octane to boost up our hp numbers and need it for those low compression 35PSI twin turboed 03-04/07-09 cobras

well Addie's idea was a real good thing, but man a game like that would surely take forever to develop, unless they do a NFS (scrap the game and call it the same name anyways, for those who don't know NFS)

and yeah I'd love another touge game, I so goddamn hope for a TXRD3! but it's not like 11 votes are gonna convince Genki anyways...

This is true. I recently sent an email to Genki regarding the future of the Kaido Battle series... still no word back yet.

well let's just hope they don't forget their fanbase to try to get new people. TXR games are extremely nice because they're not your everyday racing game. you gotta work to get results in those.

I'll try contacting them too. see what results I can get.

I would love a TXR4 ot TXR3! I love both series although I grew up with Shutokou Battle more as a child while stationed in Japan. Drift King Shutokou Battle '94 FTW!!!!
