^^

pretty good game so far. I don't really like it as much as TXR3, but that may change soon(havent really even got into tuning too much). Kind of dissapointed that I can't see the steering in cockpit view like in most other modern games.

I can't start the game with the fc like i did with txr3, and went for the older supra, after trying to decide that, 180sx, or s15 for awhile.

physics seems more on the easy side since i drift and recover too easily but it may change with time, and getting used to a xbox controller.

The game begins to get more enjoyable once you unlock the bonus roads, like route 4 (to the Shinjuku train station) and route 3 (to the Shibuya parking area - help me out if I'm wrong folks).

Like all other Genki TXR games, tuning is life. I've always gotten around by leveling up my parts one or two levels at a time. Already said this too, but use the win multiplier to your advantage. Also, there is a MUCH bigger focus on your reputation name here. Like figuring out how to challenge certain wanderers, there are a variety of things that you do or don't do which can affect your reputation (like how many wins you got in a row, whether or not you only race a certain time of night, if you honk your horn or use nitrous too much, etc).

Like I wrote in an earlier review though, one of ITC's gems seems to be storyline. Even though you're only looking at silhouettes of npcs when you talk to people at parking areas, there seems to be a much bigger sense of life when you interact with the racers now. I would almost say this game bridges an invisible gap between the race-driven stories of the TXR line of games, and the story-driven races of the Wangan Midnight series of games.

Keep on playing for fun! By the way, did you notice the rather interesting visual mods you could perform to the old-school supra? "Knight Rider", anyone?
