■ Courses
more than 20 courses, more than 60 layouts

■ physical simulation of vehicles
Physics system simulation is brand new
Represented is full fall in vehicles [possibly rollover]
Damage representation (reproduced in full by real-time collision deformation)
faithfully reproducing the behavior of electric cars, i.e. Prius, Insight, hybrid cars and the latest Tesla model

■ Arcade Mode
Single Race
2 player battle

■ GT Mode
World Map
My Garage
Car Dealer
Tuning Shop (parts, tires)
Car Washes/Oil Change
Race Championship (Series system, point system)
License Test

■ Online
Open Lobby
Text / Voice Chat
Private rooms

User Interface
The

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, and the same design concept. The icons change color
Able to track

the movement of Cockpit Camera interface (confirmed in full 3-D. The camera can be fully manipulated and you can opt to have your head tracked by the PSEye)

not much on car design i've seen which seems forza's big on. GT's never even had a paint shop in previous games.

neither have weather effects. GT5 should be more complete since it's pushed back after forza 3 was released. They should have plenty of time to put what forza offered in the game. I find it ironic how we didn't even hear about forza 3 untill GT5 was supposedly almost out.

Are you sure?
I've heard there's one in GT4, but it can only be unlocked by cheating with an Gameshark.

I'm not sure, I know the data was about 3 months ago, most people have already been hearing about it probably before E3, I just found the information.
Many people have other things to say, but i think this could be the most legit.

I think you are right.
Weather effects (hello Kaido) aren't in either game, and I've played both demos.

Currently at $100 saved up for the (used) PS3.
I need about $400 since I will be getting two contollers and the backwards compatible used one.

Don't go on GameFAQs, there is so much flaming going on in the GT5 boards about this people are getting banned left and right.

one thing that sucks about forza. there cockpit view doesnt even have 900 degree steering.

guess it doesnt matter in 3rd person or bumper view. no fun of seeing cool hand over hand drifts

The real reason I want the backwards compatible version is because the hard drive's memory is bigger, which from prior experience, is something I need.
BTW It's the 60g version.

BTW It's the 60g version.

but that means you have to get a memory card adapter to transfer all your data then.

What's the point if you already have a ps2?

Reliability concerns.
The PS2 I'm using has a few problems:
Mainly it's won't read memory cards made by someone other that Sony, which ruins 3 of my cards, and that the 2nd controller slot doesn't work.
Most of this was caused because it dropped down the stairs  (not my doing BTW)
