Had forgotten about the series, but, for some reason, happened upon Import Tuner Challenge in Wikipedia. Didn't know Genki had made the game, thought they stopped after TXR: Zero.

So, as I do love the games, had to get Import Tuner Challenge. Bought my copy from eBay earlier today, so I have to wait a while for it to arrive, but would still like to know how many different car models are in the game? I'm guessing Honda is not in, so no Civic CR-Xs for me, but, for example, how many Evos are there?

Oh yes: after finding out this game had been made, I tried to search for a fanpage of the series. Failed miserably at that. Saw the address in a video on YouTube. Pleasant surprise!

Really looking forward to receiving the game. It's been a while since I last played the series. The last game I got had to be the US version (I think it was TXR:3, which wasn't released in Europe). Luckily I was working for a games magazine back then so I had a debug PS2 on which I could play it. That said console has since died on me, so it's been a few years.

Am pretty stoked after seeing vids of the game. Only thing that bothers me is that it, allegedly, runs only 30 fps, but I guess that doesn't matter that much.

There should probably be at least 2 kinds of EVOs in this game, although in general, the total quantity of cars is down from other games. I'd say there's a bit more emphasis on story and battle content - you challenge people from parking areas, and every now and then you take part in multi-car battles. There's even a multi-car boss fight, and you will want to bring your A-game.
