Okay, I am curious to see how this turns out. For the longest time, I've used nothing but 1.5-way. Tonight I'm starting to venture into using 2-way to compare the difference in handling, acceleration, and braking. Please post your choices and any tidbits you might have about the various LSD's in this game.

i use a 1.5, but only because of Gran Turismo 3....i remember it saying "The 1.5 is a perfect choice...and ect..."

That is why I use it as well - it's supposedly the easiest to work with. So far, from the little testing I've done, that seems to be the case.

Yeah on gt4 it says 1.5 is the best so thats why i always use 1.5

gt3/4 specialize in racing. so you probably want to grip most corners but still oversteer slightly. 1.5 way tends to move out of a drift easily imo. pro drifters all use 2 way LSD

power to both wheels spin during accell off. 1.5 is just easier to control but i find it not as fun or good for drifting.

I was thinking 2-way would be the way to go for Accel Off, but I was hoping to see if anyone mentioned it.

i only have 1 sil80 with 1.5 way equiped because i originally found shiga/otome hard with 2 way due to spinning easily(i find 2 way better for those courses now). it's always good to have to do less work to keep the car sliding, if you can stop it at the right time. less braking

some of my MRs have 1.5 way equiped. but for almost everything it's 2 way.

i guess you can learn with a 1.5 and change to 2 way after you get good like some ppl recommend in real life

I'm using 2.0 in stronger cars like sky or nsx, they are steering better for me.

Most of the time I use 1way.

I usually use a 1.5 for time attack and a 2 way for drifting.

I usually use 1.5 way, but sometimes I use 2 way.

At this time, I use 2-way for FR, 1-way for FF, and 1-way for AWD.

I don't really get what are the differences between 1-way, 1.5-way and 2-way LSD.
I used 1.5-way in the beginning of the game, now I've just unlocked 2-way LSD, and I'm using that now.

Sorry, my knowledge on cars are extremely limited.

i'll try to make it simple

2way: both wheels spin at the same time almost all the time
1.5 way: both wheels get torque during accel and deceleration, but outer wheel spins more when theres no accelleration/deceleration
1way: power goes to both wheels when you accelerate but outerwheel spins faster when you dont accelerate
open/stock: power mainly goes to the outside wheels during a turn or whatever wheel has the most traction/compression.

more torque for both wheels means the cars are more agile and drifter. as well as more traction during straights and on rally stages.

Me too, sadly enough. But I was using 2 way lv 2 LSD on all my cars for the longest time in TXR, unlocked Lv 3 LSD's and some more engine parts and switched over to 1.5. Most of my cars handled better with the way I drove, but some of the lightweight FR and MR cars became too sensative with the power boost and LSD change over. My SA and FC suck now, but my FD's pwns everything.
