How the heck do I get 235-250 MPH battle speed to race Last Flight? and how do they calculate the battle speed?

best bet would be to try and get a battle on the wangan and reach that speed. and it's your max Battle Speed that has to be that. You can do that in most of the class A cars fully tuned and messing with the gear ratios

I think the Wanderer FAQ's are wrong. I faced him when I had only 200 MPH (battle speed).
Try and tune the Speed King's Skyline (R34RKK) with the special engine parts and whatnot.

I got a battle speed of 210 MPH and he still didn't challenge me. I've been doing tons of races on the Wangan too.

Then why isn't it working?
I think that there is a secret, as-yet undiscovered requirement for him.
Onc I get a new PS2 (5 days away) I can test out the conditions he appears in.

I got him now. But I think you need around 220 mph for the battle speed.

I can not test the battle speed requirement.
I have a new silver slim PS2 I got yesterday.
Give me a couple days to figure it out.
