Courses: Hakone Downhill, Akagi Downhill
Cars: Any Car (except pre-built Special)
Limitations: Limit of 1 car per person. There are no limitations to the amount of power, level of parts, or number of parts used.
Running Time: Present - April 17th [Midnight, Central Standard Time]
The object of this challenge is to build the cheapest and fastest Time Attack car you can. There is a point system in place to score everyone's car equally. There is no limit to the number and level of parts that people can use - just remember that the budget you spend is what counts against you. The point system works as follows:
For every 100,000 CP spent on the car, 1 point will be added to the driver/car score. For every 1 second you are slower than the fastest time, 2 points will be added to the driver/car score.
LOWEST POINT TOTAL WINS.Examples
15,000,000 CP = 150 PT [Total CP ÷ 100,000]
2'45"000 = 0 PT [LEAD TIME]
150 PT TOTAL
10,000,000 CP = 100 PT [Total CP ÷ 100,000]
2'55"000 = 20 PT [10 seconds slower than LEAD TIME X 2PTS]

5,000,000 CP = 50 PT [Total CP ÷ 100,000]
2'55"000 = 20 PT [10 seconds slower than LEAD TIME X 2PTS]
70 PT TOTAL
5,000,000 CP = 50 PT [Total CP ÷ 100,000]
3'00"000 = 30 PT [15 seconds slower than LEAD TIME X 2PTS]
80 PT TOTAL
4,000,000 CP = 40 PT [Total CP ÷ 100,000]
3'01"000 = 32 PT [16 seconds slower than LEAD TIME X 2PTS]
72 PT TOTAL
ALL racing must be done in Record Challenge (RC) mode to be counted. At the end of each race a code is given - that code is your time slip. No times will be accepted without the RC code. Everyone needs to run down BOTH courses and submit a code for each. If only one course time is submitted, your code will be submitted but not scored with the rest.
To keep the challenge organized, all submissions need to be PM'd to me on this site with the following information:
Quote:
CAR: Remember to include the chassis code and early/late model (if applicable).
PARTS INSTALLED: Part level required.
