anime just goes better with jpop or it's traditional
the lyrics and name of this song fits this genre reasonable well(which is rare)
it's by the band that did the initial d themes

it'll make an awesome ending song, and flashback scene song. the problem with it being the intro theme is that it's a little slow paced for this type of anime

yer touge battles will sound better with original eurobeat style, though we dont have to have just eurobeat, maybe mix up the styles a bit so everyone can enjoy

I suggest some of the TXR series' in-game music.
The music I really only can think of is progressive rock (Rush, Queensryche, Yes),metal (Judas Priest) or just plain rock.
I don't have any experience with J-Pop (Except for the TXR in-game music.)
The songs that I know that are racing themed are as follows:
Red Barchetta (Rush)
Album: Moving Pictures
One Little Victory (Rush)*
Album: Vapor Trails
Turbo Lover (Judas Priest)
Album: Turbo
Panama (Van Halen)**

* If anyone has played Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, it's in there.
** This one is obvious.
It's part of the main GT4 intro theme.
Rush's main website is rush.com, but i have no idea for the others.
