I don't get EA seriously, I mean they cashed in on the Import scene which exploded with the help of Hollywood movies like F&F for a while gaining a huge number of fans, but suprisingly they seem to only care about milking these fans because they clearly haven't been doing a very good job listening to what the players want and do not want which is why they are ultimately starting to make BS games that no one who is into NFS wants anything to do with. What pisses me off the most is they you would think after a huge flop like Prostreet you would think they would of realized no one wants a half assed sim, but no they went ahead and made NFS Shit, I mean Shift.

Shift has actually been getting some pretty positive reviews, Spike. Some people are even going so far as to call it the best NFS ever made. I hear it's not strictly sim... Supposedly they went for a careful balance of realism and arcade, so that it's realistic when it would be fun but arcadey when realism would be dull. Kind of like GRID.

Hot Pursuit 2 is awesome. We need that style back. Be The Cop mode rocks too.

Yea from what i've heard is that the only flaw is the fact that money is easily obtainable or something

Heh i find this funnier:

NFS Shift:

OMGS looks incredible

then we have this P.O.S

hah not even comparable..hard to believe these two games are from the same game series, and Nitro is being released even later than shift...

But i guess we can all just say game developers are just fking lazy when it comes to wii games, i mean look:

DiRT2 Xbox360/PS3/PC:

IT LOOKS FKING BOMB.... too bad i don't own a next gen...er ps3/360....

OH WAIT, it comes out on teh WII YESSSSS!!!!

wait wut?

In regards to Shift and Nitro...I would like to paraphrase Liquid Snake: Nitro looks like the leftovers of what they used to make Shift.

It's like the strained out everything that stunk about NFS out of Shift and then put it all in Nitro. That's the impression I get from the video, anyway. I thought I'd be happy seeing the cops, but they look so boring this time around. I mean, just one car at a time? No tactics besides just ramming into you? What happened to everything from Most Wanted?

Nitro is actually a good game, you shouldn't judge a game just for what you see alone. But I can say It's NOT recommended for hardcore racers however, it has a Burnout/toonish feel to the game, frustration in the game is pretty expected as the AI has the rubber band ability. There are 4 cops total that can chase you and (literally) beat your ass into the concrete if you have 5 star heat on you. There are no helicopters and They do setup Road Blocks, but in other race events (I.E. Drift events/Speed Trap events), so pretty much The Cops only impression indeed is ramming, but it's not like the past NFS games, they seriously ram you without holding anything back. So it's like I said, if you're more of a hardcore racer or strictly a hardcore racer, it's not a game for you. That's just my opinion, you can still play the game and find it disappointing. I find it fun it's arcade style, it'd get boring if Most Wanted kept getting remade with one or 2 changes or a new story plot.
