Yes, I CAN do this competition.
I just got an new, silver PS2 slim yesterday.
Unfortunately, my drifting skills have atrophied so much that I can't drift even an FF.
That is really, really sad.
I'll need a LOT of practice to do this competitionat the level I used to be at.
One more thing....

I will be out of the competition for a while most likely. The wife's laptop (my recording PC) is in to get some fixing done to it so I may or may not be able to record videos for a while. Until further notice, I'm out of the running.

I STILL need a heck of a lot of practice.
A LOT.
I've gotten to the point where I can drift an FF and 4WD.
I still need work on the FR, MR and RR cars.
I finally beat Gran Turismo 4 today though, so there is something good that happened today.

FR MR RR should be easier to drift. lol. FFs can only drift from feinting and/or ebrakes, and recover too fast, and can't powerslide.
maybe it's because of the weird GT4 physics. hint, more countersteer is usually needed for FRs compared to 4wds since they are more oversteery, and the lighter front weight means you can go a little faster on entry

guess it sucks that we're down to 2 competitors who can drive well and have a cam.

I disagree with this statement.
All you do for the FF's are the handbrake, which makes it easier, EXCEPT for the Xsara Rally.
That bastard will snap out of the handbrake drift with no control over the outcome.
I consider this the ONLY challenging FF to drift.
FR I don't have a problem with.
If I'm drifting FR I use either the AE86, the Silvia S13/14/200SX/Sileighty/Onevia, or a random FR I sometimes use to challenge myself. (350Z, S2000, etc)
MR I only can use the NSX or the ASL with precision.
Otherwise I'm caroming off the walls like I'm drunk or something.
RR... That little Fiat is a b**** to drive.
It's like an direct opposite of all the other cars in the game.

2 waay too many effects.
3 it never shows chase veiw wich means judges cant judge.

re record it, re upload, do no effects, just either raw footage or a song, and as ive said before, use the damn edit post button, you dont need 2 posts for this .

show the speedo too so i can try to compare speeds with the others. effects are way too distracting, and also makes it impossible to judge speed. show multiple cam angles.

yes. all i asked my friend to do was to put in a song and upload it. then that happened and i was like 'shit you idiot theres too much effects!' my friend is a dumbass. vid should be up at the end of the week, and this time no effects just raw footage and a chase cam, no bullshit and no strings. as i stated before the link should be up at the end of the week.
