3'21"225 with the NSX and that was one of the more frustrating things I've done in recent memory.

EDIT: 3'08"something, I forget what with the S30, with a hit, I saved the replay, but forgot to check what the end was again before I threw my controller at the DC. I'm sorry, this game is just fucking irritating.

 How do you like the 964T?

You and Zeleny have some close times on the NSX. It'd be nice if everyone had one of those adapter thingys that you can upload VMU data to computers. That way we could upload the saved ghost files to your computer, then upload the file to the net, then someone can DL the data to their computer, then upload to their VMU's to race against. It sounds like a lot, but it'd probably take less than a minute to DL and then UL to the VMU.

It's probably best you don't if you think it's this irritating thus far. I'm not sure what it requires more of, paitence or technique. IMO, once the technique is applied and used consistently, then it's just MAGICAL to drive. It feels like it's reading your mind.

Wow, sounds like a great idea. And I'd sure love to do this. Are ghost files same as replay files? Coz my only problem is, I don't think I have my game replay saved. Those files tend to get corrupted. I have a nexus card that allows me to upload / download DCI files. I'm not so sure I know which adapter you're referring to for uploading or downloading VMU (or is it VMS?) files.

I'm willing to do this. I just hope I'll be able to set similar times since I haven't played in quite some time.

For time attack, yes the ghost and replays are the same. For the time attack, you save the replay. You can retry and race the ghost, but if you save and then go to the garage, choose another car, you can then race against your ghost/replay. I think MSR used the same concept with DLing other peoples ghosts and "racing" against them.

That's the one I must be thinking of, the Nexus card. DCI files, cable to the memory card, etc.

I'd be willing to get one and throw a ghost out for a hot lap. ;) Gotta find one though, looked at the usual import stores, but no dice. I forgot Sony pimped Lik-Sang. :( Do you have the serial cable and everything? I'll try to find one by ends week.

I've got the whole set (with cables) complete. I haven't used this thing in years. And I remember it wouldn't work or run at all with windows XP. You need windows 95 or windows 98. Unless there's some patch I'm unaware of, this could be another potential problem but I'll try to work around this.

Which version of the software are you using?
Theres a 1.61 that I was reading about which some independent developer made. You can DL it here.

It might work.

Also,
XP can emulate 95 if I remember correctly. I think that's how I'm running Panzer General on my XP computer. I remember my computer friend set that up some how on my comp.

Just FYI, the card needs to be connected to your controller with the DC on so it runs off the DC that way.

Great. If all else fails, I've got an ancient laptop running on a 486 that still has windows 95 or 98 (can't remember). Let you know when I'm ready--just lemme know where to send the files.

Great run. I'll have to work quite a bit to catch up with your S30 lap times. That is, when I get back to playing TXR2.

Do you ever get the Nexus card to work to upload DC files?
